Bequests
Joe and Anna have been faithful supporters of our organization over the years. Both of them strongly believe that it is important to support and encourage our mission. They wanted to do more than to just make gifts. After talking it over, they decided to leave a bequest in their will. Their attorney took the sample language available from our organization and included a nice bequest. They were delighted to be helping others through us.

Jonathan's home has appreciated substantially over the years and is now worth $420,000. Jonathan has decided to sell his home and move to a retirement community. However, he recognizes that even after using his $250,000 home exclusion, he will still face high capital gain tax from the sale of the property.
